Mune Pelayo

Absolutely amazing amazing! I ordered a bunch of different things to try and they were all absolutely amazing! This restaurant was recommended to me and I’m so glad I went! Salvatore helped me out and was so attentive. I am definitely going back before leaving Spain. If you’re in the area this is probably the top Lebanese food I’ve ever had! 10/10 recommended!

Really delicious food - got the remolacha y feta salad and the shish taouk (pictured). Service was also great! I was alone and they cleared space at the bar for me to eat. Very nice bartender / manager. Good recommendations on wine as well.

Although not your usual lebanese, its one of the best lebanese food I’ve tried! the fatoush, taboula, barara hara, kiba, shish tawouk food so good forgot to mention the staff’s hospitality too— thank you Salvatore!

The food is amazing, authentic lebanese food. The hummus and beetroot hummus were delicious. The muhammarah was my favorite it was soo good. The fattoush was amazing as well. The shish tawook was nicely seasoned. The kofta in tahini was delectable, it had orange in it which was a nice twist.

I recently visited Mune Pelayo, tucked into Chueca on Calle Pelayo, and was immediately welcomed by its warm, urban-Casual vibe. Exposed brick walls, soft lighting, and a shared wooden table set a relaxed yet refined tone. To start, I sampled their mezze platter—crisp falafel, creamy hummus, and golden kibbeh—vibrant flavors that hinted at thoughtful preparation. For the main, the kafta with tahini stood out—juicy meatballs drizzled with tangy sauce—comforting and well balanced. The fattoush salad, fresh and citrusy, was a great palate cleanser. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, offering helpful dish recommendations and explaining Lebanese flavour notes. Despite cozy quarters, the atmosphere felt lively without being rushed. I left feeling satisfied by their authentic cuisine and inviting setting. Mune Pelayo combines genuine Lebanese flavours with friendly hospitality and stylish comfort—definitely worth a visit for mezze lovers in Madrid.

Everything we ordered was delicious! We ordered Kabab Karaz, Fatush salad, and Warak Enab, and LOVED all of them. Definitely coming back to this place on my next visit to Madrid!

I visited Mune Pelayo for lunch and ordered a half portion of Kafta Bi Tahini with rice and a half portion of the Remolacha y Feta salad. The total was 22€, which felt a bit on the expensive side for a light lunch, but the portions were decent. The food itself was fresh and well cooked, though slightly under-seasoned for my taste (I’m used to Greek, Swedish, and more international flavor profiles). Still, the quality of ingredients was evident. The space is lovely, aesthetically warm, though the temperature inside felt a bit cold during my visit. What truly stood out was the service: attentive, friendly, warm, and full of helpful suggestions. It really elevated the experience. Overall, a pleasant lunch with great service, fresh food, but slightly higher prices and flavors that could be bolder. For sure, I'd go back to try the rest of the dishes that look interesting.

Everything about this place was wonderful! I especially loved the attention to detail in the décor and table setting, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. The food was delicious with generous portions and decent vegetarian options. I’d happily return next time I’m in Madrid.
